Teaser Film – The Eden Project!

So we have made 3 films now and our best has been choson. That will go live on the Digital Documenters section of the First Light website this Monday (21st Feb). Here is one of our remaining 2 films acting as a teaser!

The Edit

We have been editing our films.

They are all very different and demand different editing styles.  One has lots of music, one has lots of talking, one has lots of fast cuts.

We have been in a dark room all day.  It might have sent us mad.

Our New Hoodies

We all got our hoodies.  Peter refuses to wear one as he thinks hoodies demean men of his age.  But everyone else was pleased to get one.

British Disability Swimming Shoot

We went to Bristol for our British Disability Swimming shoot.  We had an idea to make a film that was a day in the life of a volunteer shot in the first person.

It was lots of fun and great to meet everyone at the event.

Eden Shoot

Sam wasn’t there.  Sam G found the love of her life.  We all grew mustaches.  Went ice skating and kicked out of the Bio Sphere for being in there after hours.

We were angry because we missed a shot of a Brazilian dancing woman wearing a mustache.  It was only later we realised they would have been up for it.

But it was a good evening.  We got some good shots and every, that’s everyone got into the mustachios.

Livity Visit

We went to the big smoke. London- Home of the worlds most famous secret agent.

Peter revisited the streets of Brixton where he used to live and was known as pretty boy.

We learnt about online things and viral marketing and branded ourselves.  We are getting our heads round Twitter, WordPress and the other one…..

Our First Edit

Our first day of editing has been hampered by having to go to to A&E because Sam had a bit of a headache.

 

 

Next week we will be calling the Air Rescue Service for Jordans in growing toenail.

 

 

National Trust Shoot

We had our first shoot at Montacute House at the revolutions festival.

 

We filmed people raking grass, building walls and cutting down trees.

We got some good interviews and did some archery.  Here’s some pics or pix for the hipsters.
